The Box (Kelly, 2009)

This week at Gone Cinema Poaching, I contemplate Richard Kelly’s The Box, a bizarre and unsettling film that cannot be missed. I urge each and everyone of you to see it, despite the overwhelming indifference from many homegrown critics.

You can find my review here.

  1. Glad to hear this! I had been wondering why most of the reviews of The Box seemed so paltry. I didn’t get invited to any press screenings so will have to wait for the DVD — with much expectation, as I was one of the few who really appreciated Kelly’s Southland Tales.

By the way, I have been looking for — but can’t find anywhere on your blog — your email address because I need to send you something. Would you email it to me at mine: JamesVanMaanen@gmail.com Thanks!
